I had the honor of photographing the wedding of Elizabeth and Kamil in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin at The Abbey Resort. This beautiful winter wedding was perfect in every way (okay, Elizabeth would have liked a little snow but at least there was no rain!). The bride and her bridesmaids got ready at the couple’s home. I love when I shoot this part of the day in a home as it adds a personal touch to the images. Elizabeth’s dog Dory even got in on the action!
The ceremony was at St. Mary’s after which we stopped back at home for a quick family shot with Dory who might just be the sweetest dog I have ever met.
I loved these red doors! Had to take a quick walk by them – just had to! I am a sucker for colored doors. I just love how Kamil can’t take his eyes off of Elizabeth!
Then off to The Abbey Resort. It was really fun to shoot there as I had frequented the resort as a child with my Grandma and Grandpa. We went out back by the lake and braved the cold to get some great outdoor shots. It only took minutes to freeze our fingers to the point where they were not working anymore! But it was totally worth it!
These four have got to be the coolest siblings I have ever encountered. Tons of love and laughter!
The toasts were fantastic! Elizabeth and Kamil were cracking up and were brought to tears.
